Our client is an American international , which is recruiting a Finance Manager for its facilities in Lisbon.

Job description: 1.

Maintain and update the general ledger and other financial records in accordance with applicable GAAP or statutory standards. 2.

Compile general ledger journal entries for manual input and/or uploads to SAP. 3.

Reconcile general ledger accounts including cash, credit card in-transit, and prepaid expenses. 4.

Prepare and lodge regulatory returns for global entities including GST/VAT, payroll taxes, and fringe benefit returns. 5.

Preparation of schedules in support of assets and liabilities and follow-on entries including depreciation, accruals, depreciation. 6.

Assists in month-end and year-end close process, with a focus on timely completion of assigned tasks. 7.

Assist in the preparation of schedules for the year end audit. 8.

Collaborate with other members of the accounting.

Job Requirements: - Degree in Accounting or similar (mandatory);

  • At least 3 years' professional experience in similar roles (mandatory);
  • Experience in a similar role in a multinational environment (mandatory);
  • Knowledge of IFRS and/or USGAAP (mandatory);
  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
  • High organizational, time management and responsibility skills;
  • Strong analytical and rigorous skills;
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
