📋 Descrição da Função

By order of 17/12/2025, the Dean of FEUP, Professor Rui Artur Bártolo Calçada, has opened an international selection procedure for the recruitment of an Assistant Researcher within the scope of project CleverHinge (nr. 21202 and operation code at Funds Platform COMPETE2030-FEDER-02209600), co-financed by COMPETE 2030, Portugal 2030, and the European Union.

🎯 Responsabilidades

  • Execute, develop, and participate in research and development projects under the guidance of a researcher or higher education professor.
  • Integrate the project team “CleverHinge” and contribute to the following activities:
    • Act.1 System Conceptualization and Product Design
    • Act.2 Mechanical Development
    • Act.3 Electronic Development
    • Act.4 Prototype Construction and Laboratory Testing

The selected researcher may also provide possible collaboration in teaching and training activities, if applicable.

📋 Requisitos

  • Hold a master's degree in Materials Engineering.
  • Have skills and previous experience in:
    • Topological optimization of metallic components.
    • Advanced manufacturing processes.
    • Mechanical characterization (testing) of metallic materials.
    • Microstructural characterization.

💰 Condições

  • Monthly remuneration: €1,917.83
  • Full-time position
  • Contract of work to term incertain
