Lisbon-based opportunity with hybrid work model

As a Banking Deployment Engineer, you will be working for our client in the banking industry, spearheading deployment processes that ensure seamless and efficient application delivery.

Join a forward-thinking team dedicated to elevating financial services through innovative automation and infrastructure solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab to optimize deployment workflows

Develop and maintain Unix scripts for automation, ensuring reliability and efficiency

Utilize XL Deploy and XL Release for effective deployment management across environments

Collaborate with development teams to integrate Java and Cobol applications into deployment pipelines

Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues swiftly to minimize downtime

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for deployment and security

You're ideal for this role if you have:

At least 3 years of experience in deployment, automation, or infrastructure engineering

Proven expertise with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD tools

Strong Unix/Linux scripting skills

Hands-on experience with XL Deploy and XL Release

Proficiency in Java and Cobol programming languages

Solid understanding of cloud and infrastructure platforms such as AWS and Azure

Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset

Fluent in English, with strong communication skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

Certifications in AWS, Azure, or related cloud platforms

Experience working in banking or financial services environments

Language Required for the role:

Fluent English
