Role Overview:

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our Architecture, Platform Engineering & Infrastructure Team.

Reporting to the Area Coordinator, the Platform Engineer’s mission is to continuously modernize the practice of building and operating common infrastructure services as products that evolve to satisfy software development and delivery.

As a part of your job, you will be responsible for:

Develop the platform infrastructure services;

Designing & implementing the infrastructure services as products;

Automating the infrastructure products development lifecycle;

Working with the dev team to understand requirements for the application infrastructure;

Making appropriate updates in infrastructure and applications (ex: testing to verify that the infrastructure can handle the expected load and can recover from failures);

Manage internal customers expectations, by continuously track services over user level satisfaction;

Keeping up with the latest trends in the industry.

What you are like:

Experience with Kubernetes;

Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines;

Experience with Infrastructure as Code;

Knowledge or experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus;

Knowledge of Linux;

Available to provide 2nd level support, including participation in a 24x7 on call rotation, to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and minimizing system downtime;

Implement service requests and changes to fulfill user and customer needs;

Drive proactive incident and problem management in scope and deploy new measures/solutions to ensure operational stability improvements;

Apply software updates to address vulnerabilities and bugs, enhancing the security of systems and data;

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience);

An excellent team player, at different levels, building bridges and easily connecting with others.
