Role Overview:

We are currently recruiting a Data Analyst to integrate an international project in the corporate banking sector.

The client in question is one of the biggest banks in Europe, with activity in over 75 countries around the world, it also counts with over 175 years of existence which means that is an extremely consolidated player in the banking industry.

What You Will Do

You will be part of an international and diverse team supporting the Global Markets Front Office in understanding their clients, identifying opportunities, and uncovering trends through data analysis.

Your role will involve working closely with various business areas within the bank, providing valuable insights to drive business growth by understanding their needs and implementing data-driven solutions, including analysis, visualization, and automation.

You will be responsible for retrieving, preparing, and analyzing complex datasets using statistical models and best practices in data visualization to create reports and develop automated tools that support strategic decision-making.

Additionally, you will bridge technical and non-technical areas, ensuring clear communication between stakeholders and the technical team by translating business needs into technical requirements and effectively presenting complex analysis results.

What you are like:

Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields;

Experience in data visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI;

Experience in data analysis with programming, preferably Python (Pandas);

Proficiency in SQL;

Knowledge of descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing is a plus;

Knowledge in Big Data technology such as Pyspark, Presto and Airflow is a plus;

Strong organizational and planning skills;

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

Proficiency in English (mandatory).
