About

the job

The purpose of the Data Cloud Engineer is to architect and develop scalable cloud-based data solutions for telecom environments, supporting analytics and high-performance data processing.

Our ideal candidate has strong cloud and data engineering experience and enjoys working on complex, large-scale systems.

We will rely on you to

Architect and develop scalable, high-performance cloud data solutions;

Build and optimise big data processing pipelines;

Integrate cloud solutions with existing telecom infrastructure;

Ensure data security, privacy and regulatory compliance;

Design data models for analytics and business intelligence;

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines;

Troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments;

Stay up to date with cloud and telecom data trends;

Provide technical guidance to junior team members.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar;

3+ years of experience in cloud engineering (telecom is a plus);

Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud;

Strong programming skills (Python, Java and SQL);

Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark);

Understanding of telecom network protocols and architectures;

Experience in data modelling, analytics and visualisation;

Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC);

Cloud certifications are a plus.
