Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • 3–6 years of experience in BI, Analytics, or Data-related roles;
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices);
  • Hands-on experience with Dataiku for data preparation and analytics workflows;
  • Solid understanding of data visualization principles and storytelling with data;
  • Experience preparing datasets for analytics and machine learning use cases;
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of data science concepts (e.g. statistics, ML fundamentals);
  • Familiarity with Python and/or SQL;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience building or supporting machine learning models in Dataiku;
  • Exposure to Generative AI or LLM-based use cases (e.g. embeddings, prompt engineering);
  • Experience with cloud data platforms;
  • Understanding of data governance and model lifecycle management.
