Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • 3–4 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role;
  • Hands-on experience with dbt Core, including CLI-based development and version control;
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines;
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with analytical databases or data warehouses;
  • Intermediate knowledge of data modeling concepts (e.g. star schema, medallion architecture);
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows;
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts applied to data pipelines;
  • Experience with Python for data processing and/or orchestration tasks;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
  • Hands-on experience with Dataiku for data preparation and analytics workflows;
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices);
  • Experience building or supporting machine learning models in Dataiku;
  • Exposure to Generative AI or LLM-based use cases (e.g. embeddings, prompt engineering).
