Role Description:

Mind Source is strengthening its Software Development team with a talented Data Engineer - Azure Specialist.

Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience

Experience with cloud platforms for data engineering, particularly Azure

Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala

Experience with Big Data tools such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Impala, Kafka Streams & Connect

Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design

Experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Talend)

Understanding of distributed systems and data processing architectures

Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases

Fluency in English

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms

Collect, process, and analyze large and complex datasets from multiple sources

Develop and implement data workflows using technologies such as Spark and Apache Beam

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Implement security measures, including access controls and data encryption

Extract data from databases, file systems, and APIs

Monitor system performance and optimize for scalability and high availability
