Must-Have:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Data Engineer
Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for Data Engineering, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
Hands-on experience with Big Data tools including Apache Spark, Flink, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Impala, Kafka Streams & Connect, Druid, and others
Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Talend)
Advanced SQL skills and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
Strong interpersonal skills in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving for effective engagement with data owners, business stakeholders, and IT teams
Would be great if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
Familiarity with additional cloud platforms and services for data engineering (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Data Factory)
Experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Talend)
Knowledge with version control tools, especially Git
