About

the job

The Data Engineer (ML/AI) will design and develop scalable data pipelines, support ML/AI initiatives, and ensure data quality and performance in telecom environments.

Our ideal candidate has strong Python experience, familiarity with big data technologies, and enjoys building production-ready ML/AI solutions.

We will rely on you to

Design and implement scalable data pipelines for large volumes of telecom data;

Develop and optimise ETL processes for efficient data integration;

Collaborate with data scientists to deploy ML models in production;

Create and maintain data warehouses and data lakes;

Implement data quality checks and monitoring;

Develop APIs and services to expose data and ML/AI capabilities;

Optimise data storage and retrieval for performance;

Evaluate and implement new data technologies and tools;

Contribute to best practices in data engineering and ML/AI;

Provide technical guidance to junior team members.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or similar;

3+ years of experience in data engineering with ML/AI focus;

Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala;

Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive);

Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases;

Knowledge of ML/AI algorithms;

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data services;

Experience with data visualisation tools;

Relevant certifications in data engineering or cloud platforms are a plus.
