THE JOB OPENING

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DATA MODELER TO JOIN OUR TEAM

To work closely with data architects and data analysts to design and implement data modeling solutions that streamline and support enterprise information management.

This role requires strong expertise in data warehousing, data architecture, and data governance, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.To be responsible for developing logical and physical data models that reduce data redundancy, optimize data movement, and improve data accessibility and quality across the organization.

And ensure data structures align with business requirements, support analytics and reporting needs, and contribute to scalable, efficient, and reliable enterprise data management practices.

YOU WILL

Translate snowflake-schema data (Kimball structured DWH) to cube-based data models

Design, implement, and maintain robust data models within AtScale to support business intelligence, analytics and AI ready integrations

Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure semantic consistency and optimized performance across the data environment.

Together with them you’ll translate business requirements into efficient data structures

Make sure the AtScale models are available in PowerBI

Be part of the team responsible for Yonderland’s entire analytical data environment

Ensure data models adhere to best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability

Apart from data modeling in AtScale, you do your part of developing our ELT from operational data sources into our Snowflake lakehouse using dbt, Airflow, Airbyte, AWS, SQL, Python, Snowpipes, Jenkins, BitBucket

YOU HAVE

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field

At least 3 years of hands-on experience

Proven experience in writing multidimensional query language (MDX) and dimensional modeling, with experience in semantic layer technologies such as AtScale, Microsoft Analysis Services, SAP BW, IBM Cognos TM1, or similar OLAP platforms

Experience designing cubes, hierarchies, and calculated measures for business analytics

Understanding of star/snowflake schema optimization for OLAP consumption

Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices

Experience working with large-scale data environments and modern data platforms

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and share expertise
