Responsibilities:
Development of hardware controllers, ethernet switches and soft processors in FPGA, for embedded devices;
Participate in the complete development cycle, including design, implementation and testing;
Be part of an R&D team working in a collaborative, informal and dynamic environment.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science (or similar);
Years of experience in a similar job;
Experience with VHDL (Verilog will be a plus);
Experience with Xilinx or Altera tools and platforms (Quartus, Vivado);
Experience with HW/SW integration;
Experience implementing high bandwidth/low latency memory interfaces;
Hardware/System architectural design;
Teamwork oriented;
Self-organized and results oriented;
Good problem solving skills;
Passion for learning.
Nice to have:
Knowledge with Network and Ethernet implementation/integration in FPGA, including Ethernet switching;
Knowledge in implementing/integrating standard communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, LVDS, PCIe, etc.);
Knowledge in C to Hardware conversion;
Experience integrating IP from third parties (OpenCores, proprietary/licensed, etc.);
C/C++ programming knowledge;
Agile development process;
Version Control Systems (SVN, GIT).
Important informations:
Hybrid work model: 2 days per week in the office in Lisbon.
