The digital content editor/QA will perform editing and quality assurance of digital educational learning experiences for students in Portugal in grades 1 to 9 in math, science, and Portuguese language (native and non-native).

Responsibilities include:

• Performing editing and post-publishing functional quality assurance in European Portuguese and English at the document and published content stages to meet the high standards and usability-specific requirements of the client.
• Editing errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling and adhering to style guides and editorial policies.
• Validating that courses conform to established guidelines, including WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards, using specified tools and manual processes.
• Logging issues and errors in a detailed and specified format to ensure efficient and accurate fixes.
• Completing checks quickly and accurately according to project checklists and established deadlines.

This could be the perfect challenge if you have:

• +3 years of experience in proofreading, editorial, writing, or technical testing roles (involving user experience and platform functionality, including reviewing assets produced by AI);
• Strong proficiency in English, with the ability to review and validate content originating from English source documents;
• Experience using content management systems and related tools such as Open edX, H5P, and Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams) is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Ability to track multiple projects and communicate progress to others on the team;

Important Note: This is a 6-month project, with the possibility of extension.

The project is 100% remote.
