This Engineering Manager & Product Owner will oversee and guide a team of software developers within the industrial/manufacturing of mass market tech products.

This role is based in Ovar - Aveiro region and requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure project success and team efficiency.Client DetailsYou will be integrated on large and growing organization wich operates on the manufacturing/industrial of high tech.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee software development projects from inception to completion.

Establish and maintain software engineering processes and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software development with business goals.

Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are met within deadlines.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency.

Report progress and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.

ProfileA successful Engineering Manager & Product Owner should have: Experience as Product Owner, Quality Assurance Manager and/or Engineering Manager; Excellent team leadership skills; Experienced in leading multi-site technical teams, connecting, inspiring and motivating people; Hands-on working experience with software development, mainly C/C++; Experience with multi-disciplinary product development (HW, FW, SW); Experience with embedded software; Agile/scrum/kanban/SAFe experience with leading, planning, tracking, scrum master; Excellent communicator; Willing to travel between , including international; Specific knowledge of communications systems is a plus.
