Location & Work Model

Lisbon and Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model, allowing up to 3 remote days per week.

As a Senior IT Project Leader – Software Development & Industrialization, you will be working for our client, a forward-thinking organization committed to transforming IT processes and fostering innovation.

You will lead critical initiatives to optimize software delivery pipelines, implement AI integration, and establish best practices across development teams, ultimately driving efficiency and quality in complex projects.

Your main responsibilities:

Lead the assessment and standardization of quality gates within the software development lifecycle to enhance delivery consistency.

Drive continuous improvement of CI/CD practices to optimize deployment speed and reliability.

Develop and implement best practices for software industrialization, emphasizing process efficiency and quality assurance.

Spearhead innovative projects integrating AI technologies to enhance accessibility and operational effectiveness.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align industrialization initiatives with broader business objectives.

Build and nurture strong relationships across departments to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with governance and data anonymization standards during AI and data-related projects.

Support the establishment of API Gateway implementation and governance, as well as the development of transversal assets.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT project management, software development, or related fields.

In-depth knowledge of software development processes, CI/CD practices, and DevOps methodologies.

Proven experience leading industrialization projects and implementing process improvements.

Familiarity with AI concepts and technological integration is a plus.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and proactively resolve challenges.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

Certifications or experience in DevOps, AI, or cloud platforms like GCP.

Experience in a similar leadership role involving cloud-native development and automation.

Language Required for the role:

Fluent in English and French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
