Description

The Financial Consolidation & IFRS Specialist will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

This role requires expertise in accounting and finance, ensuring accurate budgeting and compliance with financial regulationsClient DetailsThe hiring , employing people in diverse industries such as retail, real estate, and finance.Description Act as a strategic finance partner across the Group, overseeing financial reporting, consolidation, and process optimization; Ensure compliance with internal policies and international accounting standards (IFRS); Provide actionable financial guidance to top management, including CFOs and CEOs of business units; Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data quality; Lead integration of new businesses into the Group's financial framework; Coordinate cash repatriation and financial alignment across business units; Address complex technical matters, including accounting, valuations, impairments, tax planning, and system implementations; Translate strategic priorities into practical guidance for stakeholders; Communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial audiences; Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, tax, treasury) and external auditors to ensure compliance and robust internal controls.

Profile

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; 6-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally in an international environment; Background in auditing is desirable; Expert knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards, with strong understanding of tax and legal interconnections; Proficient in financial reporting tools and systems (e.g., OneStream, HFM, Azure, PowerBI, Office 365); Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey complex financial matters to non-financial stakeholders; Experience in process optimization, financial consolidation, and integration of new businesses; Self-leader with strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and commitment to continuous improvement; Fluent in English.
