Front-End Software Engineer

At Openvia Portugal we are looking for a Front-End Software Engineer for our office in Vila Real.

Job description

Develop code in accordance with Openvia's secure code development procedures.

Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications/stories, taking responsibility for the quality of the software produced.

Verify and deploy programs and systems.

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.

Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.

Taking responsibility for estimating, planning, and managing all his/her own tasks and reporting on progress.

Collaborating closely with all the other members of the team to take shared responsibility for the overall efforts that the team has committed to.

Responsible for ensuring that all the visible parts of a website or application function properly and can be properly accessed by the user.

Participate in all briefings and/or meetings/trainings and secure code development updates scheduled by Openvia.

Comply with all planning activities regarding the development of secure code.

Report any situation that does not conform to the development of secure code.

Skills and qualifications we are looking for:

Graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role ( > 4 years)

Proven experience in React (min. 2 years); JS; TS; Angular.

English medium level.

Spanish Valuable.
