Full-Stack Software Engineer
Job Title: Full-Stack Software Engineer
Department: Engineering
Location: London / Hybrid
Reports to: Head of Engineering
Role Purpose
We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions across both frontend and backend systems.
This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies and contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative environment.

We encourage our engineers to adopt agentic coding practices, utilising AI tools to accelerate development whilst maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and technical rigour.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to enhance development velocity and code quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other engineers
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Implement and maintain automated testing to ensure code quality and reliability
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React (including hooks, context, and state management)
Strong experience with backend development using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API)
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core, plus knowledge of MongoDB
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform
Enthusiasm for and experience with AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) and agentic coding practices
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Desirable Skills
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Understanding of security best practices and OWASP guidelines
Demonstrable experience integrating AI tools into development workflows
Experience in the insurance or financial services sector
