Description

One of our clients is recruiting a GL Accountant (Record-to-Report) to join their growing Shared Services Center in Lisbon.

You will own key General Ledger activities (month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries) across several European markets, working in an international environment with strong exposure to senior stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on accountant looking to develop in a fast-growing, international business.

ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end closing activities (journal entries, accruals, validations)Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain and analyse General Ledger accountsSupport reporting in Oracle / HFMEnsure accuracy of financial data and compliance with internal policiesCollaborate with local finance teams across EuropeLocation

Who we are looking for:

Education degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business with deep understanding of Accounting and financial concepts (qualified accountant ideal)2–8 years of experience in General Ledger / R2R rolesSolid experience in month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP or similar)Fluent in written and spoken English
