During a period of strong growth and brand expansion, we are seeking a German Teacher to join our international school, which follows the Cambridge International Education Curriculum.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality German lessons across the Primary School, using the school’s proposed pedagogical approach and ensuring personalised academic guidance for each student.

The role requires a strong commitment to inspiring learners within a multicultural and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective German instruction in English for primary-aged students, aligned with international best practices.

Prepare and implement daily lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum.

Design and deliver dynamic lessons that address diverse learning needs, integrating modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.

Monitor and assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, maintaining high academic standards.

Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, literacy projects, and enrichment programmes.

Contribute actively to curriculum development and whole-school improvement initiatives.

Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment with high standards of behaviour and discipline.

Profile

Degree in Education or a relevant subject area.

Proven experience in a similar teaching role (required).

Near-native fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.

Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with Cambridge programmes.

People-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills and strong team spirit.

Kind, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children and young people.

Strong belief in every child’s ability to achieve high academic standards.

Solid understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices.

Non-EU candidates must hold a valid work permit.
