The Head of Information Security will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of IT security, governance, risk, and compliance within the organization.

This role is critical in ensuring the protection of sensitive data and maintaining compliance with relevant standards in the industrial and manufacturing industry.Client DetailsThe hiring .DescriptionUm/a Head of Information Security bem-sucedido/a deve ter: The HoIS is responsible for the development and maintenance of the organisation's technology related policy portfolio and associated guidelines.

Importantly this includes actively working to embed those policies across the organisation.

A further key responsibility for the Head of Information Security is to lead and supervise the Security Operations function on behalf of the CISO.

This includes providing direct oversight and holding accountability for the performance and effectiveness of all service providers engaged in delivering security operations.

The HoIS is also tasked with developing and maintaining the organisation's portfolio of technology-related policies and accompanying guidelines.

Crucially, this involves proactively embedding these policies throughout the organisation to ensure consistent adoption and compliance.ProfileA successful Head of Information Security should have: A minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance, or IT Audit.

Proven expertise in delivering risk and compliance assessments in a professional setting.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory standards relevant to the industrial and manufacturing industry.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

A professional certification in IT security, such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent, is preferred.
