Role Overview:

As a Java Developer you’ll have the chance to work with a talented and international team as a Backend Developer in Lisbon city or Porto city.

What You Will Do

Develop cutting edge code in a microservice architecture based on Java Spring Boot;

Work in our talented team of engineers to develop and ship new features;

Optimize/refactor implementation for performance and/or to reduce technical debt;

Play a key role in the development of best practices in software design, implementation, and coding;

Engage with your scrum team in technical design discussions, estimations, and reviews ;

Support the CI/CD pipeline and ensure deployed software quality is maintained.

What you are like:

University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar;

At least 3 years of experience in practical software engineering;

Proven technical excellence in Java and Spring Boot;

Some experience in cloud-hosted DevOps topics (CI/CD, k8s, terraform, helm, google cloud) and/or enthusiastic to learn;

Experience working in Scrum/Agile

Creativity, passion, persistence, and a hands-on mentality

Fluent in English.
