📋 Descrição da Função

Join the YellowIpe team as our new Lead Java Backend Developer! Our mission is to inspire the connection between technology and people by fostering the best of our professionals through expertise in finding and attracting top talent for critical projects.

🎯 Responsabilidades

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (8 or higher) and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless delivery of software solutions.
  • Write unit and integration tests to maintain high code quality.
  • Optimize and scale backend systems for performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in the Java ecosystem and proactively suggest improvements.

📋 Requisitos

  • 15+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 or higher (Java 11/17 preferred).
  • Proven expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful API design.
  • Sound understanding of object-oriented programming, concurrency, and data structures.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with Maven or Gradle for build management.
  • Proficiency in Git and understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

💰 Condições

Hybrid work model: needs to work at the office 2 or 3 times per week in Lisbon. Must be based in Portugal and hold valid work authorization. No relocation or sponsorship is available for this role. A background check will be conducted upon successful completion of the interview process.
