What is this challenge about:

Build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure services and applications running on enterprise Linux platforms.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Collaborate with architects, project managers, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable infrastructure solutions.

Manage infrastructure configurations and automation code using version control systems such as Git.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives with a strong focus on automation, operational efficiency, and platform reliability.

Participate in an on-call rotation to support production environments and ensure service availability.

What we are looking for:

5+ years of experience in Linux system administration, particularly with enterprise distributions such as RHEL, Oracle Linux, or Rocky Linux.

Working knowledge of Windows Server administration as a complementary skill.

Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals, including command-line administration, process management, file systems, permissions, and OS-level troubleshooting.

Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Bash/Shell, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or similar.

Experience using version control systems such as Git (GitHub, GitLab, or equivalent) following modern collaboration and code management practices.

Good understanding of infrastructure technologies, including storage, virtualization, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls), and Active Directory.

Familiarity with cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and practical experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proactive mindset with a strong focus on automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Living in Porto (hybrid role).

Fluent level of English.
