Description

Middleware Application Support Engineer

We are looking for a Middleware Application Support Engineer to join a team responsible for the operation and support of critical enterprise applications.

This role focuses on providing technical support for Java-based and middleware platforms, ensuring application stability, maintenance, and continuous improvement in production environments.

The selected professional will be involved in incident, change, and service request management, as well as hands-on technical administration and troubleshooting across middleware environments.

Key Responsibilities

Application support in enterprise middleware environments

Management and resolution of incidents, changes, and service requests (RITM)

Application deployments in production and non-production environments

Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in Java applications

Certificate installation and management

Log analysis and troubleshooting on application servers

Support for integrations and web services (REST and SOAP)

Collaboration with development and infrastructure teams

Ensuring availability, performance, and stability of critical applications

Mandatory Requirements

3-5 years of experience in application support or middleware support

Strong experience with Java (Java 8 or higher)

Experience with Apache Tomcat

Experience with REST and SOAP web services

Hands-on experience with application deployments

Knowledge of IIS

Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

Experience or exposure to some of the following technologies:

ETL / PowerCenter

Oracle IAM

Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Struts, iBatis)

Apache HTTP Server

Angular

GeoServer / geospatial systems

Integration and messaging solutions

Secure file transfer tools (e.g., EDITRAN)

Experience Working With

Tomcat environments

APIs and system integrations

Enterprise platforms and mission-critical systems
