We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead and influence a team based in Austria, focusing on innovative international projects within the public transportation sector (ÖPNV).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new features and enhancements for software systems in the public transportation sector.
  • Act as a technical reference and mentor for a team predominantly composed of junior developers.
  • Lead by example through solid technical foundations and the ability to influence team growth.
  • Manage diverse development tasks ranging from user interface design to complex data integration.
  • Solve analytical and conceptual challenges while diving deep into customer-specific requirements.
  • Drive collaborative solutions through strong communication and team spirit.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
  • Backend Expertise: Solid professional experience with .NET and C#.
  • Frontend Expertise: Excellent knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Database Knowledge: Expertise in relational databases; experience with Entity Framework and LINQ is a major plus.
  • Software Craftsmanship: Familiarity with Clean Code principles and professional development standards.
  • Tools & Methodologies: Experience with code versioning (Git) and Agile methods (SCRUM).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal strength and the motivation to shape the future of public mobility.
