Backend Development

• C# (.NET Framework 4.x) - Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC 5 and WebForms
• Layered Architecture - Experience with multi-tier applications:

o Presentation Layer (MVC Controllers, WebForms)

o Business Logic Layer (Services)

o Repository Layer

o Data Access Layer

• SQL Server & T-SQL - Complex queries, stored procedures, query optimization for high-volume data
• RESTful Web API - Building and consuming HTTP services
• Dependency Injection – SimpleInjector, Unity, Autofac, or similar IoC containers

Frontend Development:

• ASP.NET MVC Razor - Views, partial views, HTML helpers
• ASP.NET WebForms - User controls, ViewState, postback model (for legacy maintenance)
• Telerik Kendo UI - Grids, charts, dropdowns, and other UI components
• JavaScript/jQuery - AJAX, DOM manipulation, event handling
• Bootstrap - Responsive layouts
• CSS - Styling and theming

Data & Performance:

• SQL Query Optimization - Execution plans, indexing strategies, avoiding N+1 queries
• Async/Await Patterns - For I/O-bound operations
• Bulk Operations - Handling large datasets efficiently

Security:

• Authentication & Authorization - Custom authorization attributes, role-based access control
• OWASP Best Practices - XSS, CSRF, SQL injection prevention
• Secure Configuration Management - Connection strings, API keys

Testing & Quality:

• Unit Testing - NUnit/xUnit, Moq/NSubstitute for mocking
• Code Reviews - Peer review practices
• Debugging - Visual Studio/Rider debugging, log analysis

DevOps & Tools:

• Git - Branching (similar to GitFlow), merging, conflict resolution
• Azure DevOps - Work items, pull requests, build pipelines
• CI/CD - Automated builds and deployments
• XL Release & XL Deploy - Release management and deployment automation
• JetBrains Rider - IDE proficiency
