What we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Oracle Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database environments, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of mission-critical systems.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise infrastructure, support application deployment, and contribute to the continuous improvement of database operations both on-premises and in the cloud.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically driven professional who wants to work on challenging projects and drive impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • � Administer, configure, and optimise Oracle Database environments, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and data integrity.
  • � Perform database design, tuning, patching, and upgrades to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
  • � Support SQL performance optimisation and troubleshooting for complex queries and stored procedures.
  • � Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to design and implement scalable and secure database architectures.
  • � Manage Linux-based environments, performing automation and monitoring of database-related processes.
  • � Work with cloud and on-premises infrastructures, ensuring seamless integration and performance across hybrid environments.
  • � Apply best practices for backup, recovery, and security management of production databases.
  • � Leverage Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure efficient project delivery and continuous improvement.
  • � Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring of junior team members.
