Role Overview

We are looking for an OutSystems Developer to join one of our Nearshore teams, working in an international and cross-country setup.

You will be part of a distributed Portugal–Netherlands team, contributing to the development, maintenance, and evolution of a diverse ecosystem of OutSystems applications, many of them business-critical.

This role combines hands-on development with technical ownership, collaboration in Agile environments, and continuous improvement of platforms and processes across the application lifecycle.

What You Will Do

Develop new features and evolve existing functionalities across OutSystems Reactive and Traditional Web applications;

Design and implement scalable, maintainable technical solutions aligned with business requirements;

Build backend integrations using REST/OData, FTP, and manage complex logic, error handling, and data modelling;

Contribute to front-end development using CSS, JavaScript, and mobile best practices;

Actively participate in backlog refinement, story definition, and Scrum ceremonies with a strong ownership mindset;

Support innovation initiatives, including OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) and AI-related use cases;

Promote DevOps practices and continuous improvement to enhance quality and reduce maintenance effort.

What you are like

Proficient in OutSystems development for Reactive and Traditional Web applications; knowledge of ODC is a plus;

Comfortable working usly while taking ownership within Agile/Scrum teams;

Experienced in backend development and system integrations, with strong logic and data modelling skills;

Confident in solution design, translating business needs into technical approaches and advising stakeholders;

Comfortable with front-end technologies such as CSS and JavaScript, including mobile app experiences;

Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and Agile methodologies;

Clear and effective communicator, with English proficiency at B2 level or above.
