Role Overview:
We are looking for a Product Owner – Payments to join our teams and support a leading financial institution.
In this role, you will focus on maximizing the value of payment products, ensuring their continuous evolution in line with business needs, customer experience expectations and regulatory requirements.
Acting as a bridge between business and IT, you will guarantee that delivered solutions are relevant, competitive, and sustainable within the banking ecosystem.
What You Will Do
Manage the lifecycle of payment products (KYT, Fraud, channels, data);
Monitor SWIFT and TARGET specifications and assess impacts on the application ecosystem;
Identify and evaluate the effect of specification changes in payments systems and processes;
Contribute to the design and evolution of APIs and microservices architectures;
Translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications;
Work closely with SIBS integration technologies (H2H, files, clearing, SEPA, TIPS/IPS, SDD);
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business and technical goals;
Support implementation cycles, ensuring timely delivery and quality of solutions.
What you are like:
Experienced as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, with strong ownership of product evolution;
Proficient in payments processes and standards (SEPA, transfers, clearing, etc.);
Knowledgeable of the banking and financial sector context;
Skilled in Agile methodologies and collaborative delivery frameworks;
Strong analytical ability and business-oriented mindset;
Highly proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic environments;
Excellent communication skills, both technical and business-facing;
Results-driven, with strong time management and prioritization abilities;
Team player with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
Able to manage pressure while maintaining high levels of responsibility and commitment;
Fluent English (is a plus).
