For our new Plant in Amarante, near Oporto, Portugal, we are looking for a Production Planner.
What You Will Do
IN YOUR ROLE: The Production Planner is responsible to plan the production of all semi-finished and finished goods assembled on production lines within the plants of the group.
The plan must be elaborated in accordance with the production allocation strategy of the group and the standard lead time of the products.
- Process, analyse and confirm customer orders;
- Ensure that customers firm requirements are met on time and in quantity;
- Establish a realistic and optimized production plan;
- Provide visibility to the plants on workload, resource, components and tools requirements;
- Communicate and coordinate with all the departments and stakeholders involved in carrying out his mission;
- Maintain master data in our ERP up to date;
- Report all blocking and/or risk points that could prevent the mission from being accomplished (escalation);
- Develop and maintain relevant key performance indicators and operations and process monitoring tools;
- Participate in the development of the .
