The SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of financial processes.

They have solid expertise in SAP FI/CO implementation, integration with other modules (SD/MM), and technical troubleshooting.

The consultant ensures a robust financial infrastructure and actively contributes to enhancing business operations through new SAP functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration and configuration of SAP FICO processes to meet business requirements, including integration with SD and MM.
• Identification of opportunities to enhance business operations using new SAP functions.
• Performance analysis, root cause identification, and resolution of recurrent problems.
• Creation of detailed technical specifications for the ABAP team and collaboration on cross-module changes.
• Updating and maintaining SAP documentation and the global knowledge database.
• Implementation of rigorous testing for configuration changes.
• Training and knowledge sharing across the global team using Agile methodologies.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• SAP FI/CO Expertise: 5+ years of experience covering the full implementation lifecycle (analysis, configuration, testing, and production support).
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in IDOCs, LSMW, and authorization roles.

Debugging skills and ABAP knowledge are a major plus.

• S/4HANA & Innovation: Knowledge of S/4HANA is preferred, along with a proactive approach to identifying system improvements.
• Communication & Collaboration: Fluent in English with excellent oral and written skills.

Experience working with on/offshore teams and different cultures.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and experience in application maintenance services.
