What is this challenge about:

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Coach teams on Agile principles and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and XP, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Support the Product Owner in effective backlog management, ensuring clear prioritization and maximum value delivery.

Identify, manage, and proactively remove impediments (technical, organizational, or people-related).

Promote Agile estimating and planning practices aligned with team capacity and delivery goals.

Act as an internal Agile coach, helping teams become self-organized, high-performing, and fully Agile.

Encourage and support Agile engineering practices such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Driven Development, and automated testing.

Track and analyze Agile metrics (e.g., velocity vs productivity) to support data-driven improvements.

Use tools such as Jira and Confluence to ensure transparency, reporting, and effective collaboration.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align delivery outcomes with organizational goals.

Contribute to the creation and evolution of an Agile Center of Excellence within a multinational fintech environment.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

+5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Delivery Lead.

Scrum Master certification (mandatory).

Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, including Scrum, XP, and Kanban.

Proven experience with Agile estimating, planning, and Scrum artifacts.

Solid knowledge of Agile software engineering practices, including: Automated testing techniques, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, Test Driven Development

Experience working with Agile metrics such as velocity and productivity.

Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Background in software development is valued.

Strong communication, analytical, and active listening skills.

Living in Porto, Coimbra or Lisbon.

Fluent level of English.
