📋 Descrição da Função

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic and innovative team in Maia. This role is part of the Accounting department within our Technology category.

🎯 Responsabilidades

  • Ensure, together with the Reporting & Controlling Team Leader, that all reporting activities align with local and group deadlines.
  • Perform period end activities such as booking manual journal entries, accruals, provisions and deferrals; inventory accounting, post adjustments; fixed asset accounting including creation, additions, depreciation, disposals and transfers; revaluation and adjustments; inter-balance sheet reconciliation and account maintenance to provide a true and fair view of the company's business.
  • Review the Monthly Accounting Closing within the specified deadlines for both the Group and in collaboration with the Subject Matter Experts (SPOCs).
  • Implement and oversee internal key controls.
  • Support SPOC in preparing local financial statements and tax declarations.
  • Review and propose provisions for doubtful debts and warranties to customers as well as any appropriate accounting.

📋 Requisitos

  • Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Accounting, with preference given to those who have experience in month-end cycles.
  • International accounting experience is valued.
  • Experience with SAP Business One is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in English and a second language such as French, German, Italian, or another European language (spoken and written).
