Lisbon-based opportunity with a hybrid work model (up to 2 remote days per week).

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the banking industry, focusing on delivering transformative solutions through Agile methodologies.

You will play a key role in bridging business needs with technological solutions, enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience.

Your main responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements

Develop and maintain functional specifications, user stories, and story maps to guide development teams

Create comprehensive tests documentation and oversee test execution to ensure solution quality

Write and update functional and technical documentation aligned with project needs

Communicate effectively with both business and technical teams to facilitate understanding and implementation of requirements

Design and execute SQL queries, interpret database models to support analysis and decision-making

Understand and contribute to the technical architecture and system design discussions

Act proactively and independently to address issues and propose improvements within Agile projects

You're ideal for this role if you have:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services

Fluency in French (C1) and good command of English (B2/C1)

Solid experience in requirements analysis, user stories, story mapping, and test documentation

Strong technical skills, including SQL and database modeling

Good understanding of technical architecture and Agile methodologies

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, us work approach

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

Experience within the banking industry

Familiarity with parametrization and configuration processes

Language Required for the role:

Fluent in English (Communicative level)

Proficient in French (C1 level)

Eligibility to work in Europe:

Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.
