Senior C++ Developer – Equities Electronic Trading

I’m hiring for a role that sits at the intersection of high-performance engineering and financial markets.

We’re looking for C++ engineers to join a global team working on a low-latency algorithmic trading platform.

The work is technically challenging and includes significant greenfield development.

What you’ll work on:

Ultra-low latency exchange connectivity

Market data distribution

Algorithmic trading framework and models

Modern C++ (up to C++20) on Linux, with performance-critical optimisations (NIC bypass, CPU pinning, etc.)

Tech environment:

Modern C++ (11/14/17/20) | Linux, gcc, gdb | Boost, STL | Multithreading, memory optimisation

You’ll bring:

Strong C++ skills in a low-latency or high-performance context

Understanding of design principles, data structures, and algorithms

Comfort working in a globally distributed team

Good communication skills in English

Nice to have:

FIX or other financial protocols

Python / bash scripting

Java or C# exposure

Based in Lisbon, collaborating with teams across major financial hubs globally.
