About

the job

The Senior Database Administrator will manage and maintain MS SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security in complex enterprise environments.

Our ideal candidate has strong SQL Server expertise, experience with high-availability architectures, and enjoys solving complex database issues.

We will rely on you to

Administer and maintain MS SQL Server databases;

Manage complex architectures (AlwaysOn, clusters, replication);

Execute and monitor backups and restores (Veritas NetBackup, Commvault);

Support internal teams and enterprise clients;

Analyse and troubleshoot incidents;

Use ServiceNow for requests and tickets;

Create and optimise T-SQL scripts;

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

Must-have:

Strong experience in SQL Server administration;

Solid knowledge of AlwaysOn, clusters, and replication;

Practical experience with Veritas and Commvault backups/restores;

Hands-on experience with T-SQL;

Experience with Windows Server;

Familiarity with ServiceNow;

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Nice-to-have:

Experience in large-scale enterprise environments;

Basic Linux knowledge;

Microsoft certifications.
