This position requires a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry to implement and maintain critical infrastructure solutions.

The role is based in Porto and offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects.

Client Details

Our client is an international industrial group currently investing in Portugal, with the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in the country and a Support Office in Porto.

Description

Architect secure communication, over-the-air update mechanisms, and data collection/storage infrastructure for distributed systems.

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded and real-time software platforms.

Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) for development, testing, and production environments.

Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).

Set up containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.

Support development teams with automation of build, test, and deployment processes.

Ensure logging, metrics, and alerting systems are in place.

Collaborate with software and hardware engineers on integration workflows.

Profile

8+ years of DevOps/SRE experience.

Strong expertise with AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, networking).

Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similar).

Artifact repository managers like (JFrog, Nexus, Github, other)

Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Solid knowledge of Linux administration and networking.

Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).

Familiarity with software development processes for robotics (ArduPilot, ROS) is a plus.

Experience with monitoring/logging systems (e.g., Grafana, Victoria Metrics, VictoriaLogs, Prometeus) is a plus.

Experience with redundancy and cybersecurity practices is a plus.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

English proficiency for technical communication.
