We are currently strengthening the team of one of our clients with the following profile:
Senior Embeeded System Engineer – Hybrid (Lisbon, Coimbra or Porto)
What we are looking for
Hard skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in senior-level electronic design and embedded systems development
- Expert-level proficiency in C and Assembly for bare-metal embedded applications.
You must be comfortable working without an RTOS
- Extensive hands-on experience with 16/32-bit microcontrollers.
Direct experience with the STMicroelectronics ST10 family (like the ST10F269) and the Infineon XC2000 family (like the XC228xH) is highly preferred
- Proven ability to analyse and troubleshoot analog and mixed-signal circuits, including signal conditioning for ADCs, filtering, and sensor interfaces
- Strong understanding of digital logic, bus interfacing (specifically PC104) , and memory interfaces (SRAM, Flash)
- In-depth, practical knowledge of implementing and debugging communication interfaces, particularly CAN and RS232, at both the firmware and hardware levels
- Proficiency in schematic capture and experience reviewing complex, multi-layer PCB layouts
- Background in the transportation, industrial, or power electronics industries is a plus
- Deep knowledge of power supply design, specifically switched-mode power supplies (SMPS) is a plus
- Fluency in English
