Senior Java Backend Developer – Angular Integration Expert

As a Senior Java Backend Developer – Angular Integration Expert, you will be working for our client, a leader in industry-driven technology solutions.

You will play a pivotal role in designing and developing next-generation, scalable, and business-critical software systems using Java and Angular, shaping the future of digital transformation and enterprise agility.

Your main responsibilities:

Define and evolve scalable microservices architecture (API-centric, event-driven) to support complex business needs

Apply Domain Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture principles to ensure maintainability and robustness

Design and develop high-quality Java / Spring backend services with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Security

Lead REST API design, ensuring clear contracts, versioning, security, and comprehensive error handling

Develop and maintain batch processing workflows leveraging Spring Batch

Ensure comprehensive test coverage with unit and integration testing best practices

Act as a technical leader through code reviews, defining best practices, and mentoring development teams

Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless solutions

You're ideal for this role if you have:

At least 7 years of experience as a Senior or Expert Developer in software engineering

Expert-level skills in Java and Spring Framework (including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data, Spring Security)

Strong knowledge of REST API design and implementation

Hands-on experience with Kafka, SQL, and MongoDB

Good understanding of Angular for API integration and architecture fundamentals

Proven experience in software architecture, design patterns, and DDD

Strong communication skills and ability to guide technical teams effectively

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

Knowledge of Kotlin and OpenShift platform

Experience with CI/CD, logging, and monitoring tools

Language Required for the role:

Fluent in English and French
