What is this challenge about:

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex, high-performance solutions within the .NET ecosystem.

Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems.

Design, develop, and manage robust data integration processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Optimize, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.

Define and promote software architecture standards, development best practices, and technical guidelines.

Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and adherence to engineering standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies across applications and databases.

Support system enhancements, migrations, and modernization initiatives.

Contribute to technical decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.

Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in .NET development.

Extensive expertise in the .NET ecosystem and backend application development.

Strong experience with SQL Server database administration, optimization, and performance tuning.

Deep knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and data integration solutions.

Proven experience designing and implementing scalable enterprise-grade systems.

Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.

Experience troubleshooting complex application and database-related issues.

Ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Living in Portugal (Remote role)

Fluent level of English and Portuguese
