What is this challenge about:

Leading cross-functional projects in banking and fintech domains

Translating complex financial requirements into actionable technology solutions

Managing end-to-end project delivery: initiation, planning, execution, go-live, and benefits realization

Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, including developers, analysts, testers, and external vendors

Ensuring compliance with regulatory, security, and operational standards

Driving continuous improvement in project governance and delivery models

Managing stakeholder communication, reporting, and executive updates

What we are looking for

10+ years of experience managing projects in finance, banking, or fintech

Proven experience in technology-driven initiatives (e.g., integrations, core banking, digital platforms, data migrations)

Strong understanding of financial products and operational processes

Technical acumen to discuss architecture, APIs, integrations, and data models

Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Analytical, solution-oriented, and resilient in complex environments

Familiarity with Agile / Hybrid / PM2 / PRINCE2 / PMP methodologies

Fluent level of Portuguese & English (mandatory);

Availability to work in a hybrid environment – 2 times per week in the office in Porto or Lisbon.

Candidates must be residing already in Portugal.
