Lisbon-based opportunity with hybrid work model.
As a Senior Quality Assurance Tester – Functional & Automation, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the insurance industry.
You will help shape the future of product quality by designing, executing, and automating test strategies that ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality solutions.

Your main responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive test plans to verify User Stories meet specified requirements and quality standards.
Develop detailed test cases based on User Story specifications and document acceptance criteria with clarity.
Manually execute functional, regression, and integration tests to ensure compliance with requirements.
Write, validate, and maintain automated test scripts for API, functional, and regression testing.
Identify, document, and communicate defects effectively to developers, supporting swift resolution.
Contribute to effort estimation and planning sessions, providing quality insights during sprint retrospectives.
Execute automation tasks for API testing, including writing scenarios, identifying test data sets, validating automation, and reporting results.
Collaborate with VIC Teams and internal stakeholders during testing phases, ensuring methodological rigor.
Maintain high standards of reporting, communication, and proactive issue identification throughout testing cycles.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
At least 4 years of experience in testing, with a strong background in functional and automation testing.
Proficiency in testing tools such as Karma, Jasmine, Jest, Cucumber, JUnit, or Bruno.
Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and API testing best practices.
Experience with Agile methodologies and functional knowledge of life insurance is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication skills in both English and French (verbal and written).
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote tasks.
It is a strong plus if you have:
Additional certifications in testing or automation frameworks.
Experience with other automation tools or programming languages relevant to testing.
Language Required for the role:
English (spoken and written): proficiency required.
French (spoken and written): good command necessary.
