Porto-based hybrid opportunity with 3 days from home per week.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Banking Infrastructure, you will be working for our client in the banking industry, ensuring the robustness and resilience of critical financial systems.

Play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability of essential IT services while shaping the future of banking technology excellence.

Your main responsibilities:

Provide operational support and resolve incidents across all environments to ensure uninterrupted banking services.

Deliver Level 3 support on IT infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues effectively.

Ensure application stability via comprehensive monitoring and resilient architecture design.

Drive technical projects, collaborating with infrastructure and development teams to implement scalable solutions.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of technical architecture supporting business initiatives.

Automate and optimize tools and procedures using scripting languages like Shell and Python.

Guarantee security compliance of architecture in line with industry standards and best practices.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux IT projects.

Strong expertise in Linux environments; knowledge of Windows Server is a plus.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell and Python.

Good understanding of web servers and security protocols.

Familiarity with schedulers (Control-M, VTOM) and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK).

Experience with deployment tools such as GIT, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Openshift, Docker.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

Certifications or experience in related security standards or cloud technologies.

Fluent English
