For a direct placement with an end client in the Logistics and Transportation sector, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Porto.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Lead and engage in every stage of the development lifecycle, from defining requirements to delivering demos and final products;

Work closely with our Software Architects and business specialists to architect the best technical and functional solutions for new features and enhancements;

Drive the growth and success of the entire product team by identifying, proposing and implementing process improvements;

Mentor and support junior team members;

Develop high-quality Java- and Angular-based digital products, ensuring code is clean, well-tested and maintainable.

Take full responsibility for the quality and long-term sustainability of the software;

Collaboratively define and design a robust, modular and integrated software landscape.

IDEAL PROFILE

Academic degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent work experience;

Proven track record of leading small to medium-sized software development teams in high-performance, agile environments;

Strong passion for IT, with the ability to find pragmatic and innovative solutions that maximize business value and committed to evolving both personally and as part of a dynamic team, especially promote a no-blame culture, encourage experimentation and value diverse opinions;

Extensive object-oriented programming skills, with several years of successful experience in Java, Spring, Docker (basics), OpenShift, Jenkins, Git, and SQL;

Proficiency with front-end technologies like Angular and JavaScript;

Expertise in Kafka, API Gateways, Microservices architecture, and DevOps practices makes you a highly desirable candidate;

Good knowledge of English.
