We’re looking for a skilled System Administrator to take ownership of several of our internal and customer facing services.

Our environments are operated within a DevOps-driven, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) culture, and deployed on Kubernetes clusters.

Your responsibilities

Architecture & Design: Audit existing systems, collaborate on system architecture, and help guide technology selection for microservices.

Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize services and systems across multiple datacenters.

Backup & Recovery: Implement robust disaster recovery strategies within Kubernetes environments.

Security: Enforce access control, encryption, and vulnerability management in containerized infrastructure.

Monitoring: Configure monitoring systems for proactive issue identification.

Kubernetes Management: Deploy and maintain database stacks using Infrastructure as Code.

Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts and establish Disaster Recovery Plans.

Your Skills and Experiences

Over 4 years of experience as a System Administrator or Operations Engineer with a strong track record in performance tuning and optimization.

Good communication, troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Advanced knowledge and usage of containerization technologies, using Docker and Kubernetes to run and manage database workloads efficiently.

Proficient in Infrastructure as Code, leveraging tools like Terraform, Ansible and Helm.

Skilled in modern application and system monitoring solutions.

Hands-on experience managing services handling large-scale datasets (terabyte+).

Expertise in both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Experienced in high-availability architectures, on-premise infrastructure and networking.
