IT House is looking for a Software Architect for a direct placement with an end client in the Logistics and Transportation sector, and take a leading role in shaping scalable, secure, and high-performing software platforms.

This position combines hands-on architectural design with technical leadership, offering the opportunity to influence product direction while supporting development teams in delivering robust, future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement high-level software architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security;

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, promoting best practices and high engineering standards;

Identify emerging technologies and industry trends to support innovation initiatives;

Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions;

Oversee code quality through reviews, testing strategies, and documentation standards;

Mentor and support junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement;

Design and manage system integrations to enable seamless interaction and data flow across platforms.

Ideal Profile

Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are considered an advantage;

Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a comparable senior technical role, with a strong background in designing complex, high-performance systems;

Deep understanding of software architecture patterns, object-oriented design, microservices, and cloud-based solutions;

Hands-on proficiency in Java, Angular, Spring, Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins, Git, and SQL;

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with sound decision-making skills;

Ability to lead and influence technical teams, promoting technical excellence and best practices;

Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;

Familiarity with logistics or supply chain environments is considered a plus;

Good command of English.
