Focus

Long-term vision, strategy oversight and decision making, investment alignment, and portfolio optimization

Accountabilities:

Portfolio vision & balancing: strategic direction and purpose, clarify the portfolio’s value and rationale, strategic decision-making on portfolio investments, defining what to pursue or exclude to ensure alignment with C&D OKRs/strategy

Portfolio roadmap: high-level visual plan for 1–3 years that outlines key deliverables and milestones and provides big-picture view of progress and dependencies

Portfolio practice: structured approaches and methodologies used to optimize decision-making, resource allocation and strategic alignment (e.g., frameworks)

Portfolio backlog: align priority with Business units beyond C&D (in close collaboration with the operational role)

Escalation path: define and manage the higher-level escalation process to ensure timely resolution of strategic challenges

Responsibilities:

Establish and communicate calendars for Portfolio Rituals at NN level

Support project/program execution by applying proven patterns across the portfolio

Coordinate the Portfolio Roadmap by integrating lower-level product roadmaps and ensuring alignment with the big picture

Define, implement and continuously improve portfolio practices, ensuring consistency, knowledge sharing and adaptability to evolving business needs

Foster stakeholder collaboration, primarily across business units, as needed or requested

Provide direction and proactively signal to ensure the Portfolio Backlog effectively supports business objectives
