📋 Descrição da Função

At KCS IT, we are looking for an exceptional System Administrator to join our team in Lisbon. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on innovation and collaboration.

🎯 Responsabilidades

  • Manage Linux Systems: Ensure the stability and security of all Linux systems.
  • Scripting Expertise: Proficient in Bash/Shell scripting, with a solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
  • Monitoring Tools: Use tools like Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana for monitoring system performance.
  • Log Management: Utilize the ELK stack and manage logs effectively using journald and syslog.
  • DevOps Practices: Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

📋 Requisitos

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Mid-level (3-5 years) Linux System Administrator experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Solid knowledge of Linux internals and system services.
    • Expertise with package management systems.
    • Understanding of Bash/Shell scripting.
    • Experience with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls.
    • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana).
    • Familiarity with log management and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Language: Fluent in English and Portuguese.
